Leena plays a vital role in the day-to-day human resources (HR) and operations functions at the Data Quality Campaign, which includes overseeing benefits administration, managing the recruiting process, and facilitating seamless onboarding efforts.

Prior to joining DQC, she gained seven years of experience as a dedicated HR professional with positions at National Geographic and GMMB, honing her skills in operations, administration, and strategic staff recruitment and development. She is known for her personable and dedicated approach, actively displaying strong communications while working as part of a team.

Leena graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications and political science from Towson University.

Why do you do this work?   I do this work because it’s an honor to work for an organization with passionate people committed to ensuring every child’s success in the education space.

Who are your education heroes? My dear friends who work as teachers in the education space, Briana Gallagher and Juliana Gerard. Teachers are our society’s unsung heroes.

If you could have dinner with three people, who would they be? Marie Antoinette, Rihanna, and Bad Bunny.
