When Researchers Have Access to Data, Students Succeed

When policymakers and researchers work together, students and schools do better. That’s because research is more than an academic exercise. It creates discoveries that have a direct impact on the students of today and tomorrow. Smart state and federal investments in research and data pay off—in both innovations and student outcomes. With access to quality data and the training to use and safeguard it, researchers can help find answers and solutions to questions about education. In partnership with the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and Knowledge Alliance, the Data Quality Campaign has released an infographic that shows how researchers’ access to data can help students succeed.
