Data Quality Campaign Coalition Letter on State Digital Equity Plans

Data Quality Campaign Coalition Letter on State Digital Equity Plans

The digital equity grants authorized by the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act passed by Congress last year provide an unprecedented opportunity to identify and address persistent barriers to achieving universal access to high-speed broadband and connected devices. Removing digital access barriers will require states to adopt or expand a set of effective data system use and integration strategies as part of these plans. This letter, signed by the organizations listed below, was sent to federal legislators to urge them to include appropriate data collection, integration, and use as core elements of their States’ digital equity plans.
