WASHINGTON (August 22, 2015)—Following is the statement of the Data Quality Campaign, a national nonprofit that advocates for the safe, effective use of education data to improve student achievement, on recent revelations of charges against a 2010 award winner.
“We are aware of the serious charges against Jason Martinez, a 2010 winner of our District Data Leader Award, and are saddened by the allegations. We do not condone any behavior that does not represent the integrity of our organization and those we serve.”
