Who are your education heroes? My mother and my first grade teacher are my education heroes. I struggled with reading. My teacher informed my mom and they worked together to help improve my reading skills. I was in the last reading group and by the end of the school year I had moved to the second highest reading group. When I returned to school to start second grade I found out the kids that were in the last reading group had to complete another year in first grade.

What is your favorite DQC resource? Grace’s Path to Success.

If you could have dinner with three people, who would they be? Oprah, Dave Chappelle and the Queen of England.
