Every child deserves a personalized educational experience. Data makes that vision possible, convening students, families, educators, and community partners around a full picture of student learning to support students’ success.
Brittany advances strategies and priorities to increase public understanding of the value of education data. She serves as DQC’s media contact, manages the development of campaigns and public-facing resources, and leads public opinion research.
Before joining DQC in 2016, Brittany worked as a communications officer at the Rodel Foundation of Delaware, a nonprofit dedicated to helping Delaware build one of the finest systems of public education in the world. There she developed and managed a variety of public relations strategies for the organization and the Vision Coalition of Delaware, a public-private partnership focused on implementing the Student Success 2025 plan to improve public education.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications, arts, and sciences from Penn State University. During her studies, she interned at several organizations, including for US Senator Thomas Carper. In addition to her professional role, she has been an avid volunteer and board member for various nonprofits, including Girls Inc. of Delaware, PRSA Delaware, and the Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League. When Brittany’s not working to ensure excellence and equity for all children, she enjoys exploring new places and food, and trying to visit each of DC’s around 200 museums.
